Homeschool Workshops: Robot Coding (Grades 9-14) 2018

In this two-hour workshop, students are introduced to computer programming using Blockly, a drag-and-drop visual programming tool, and robots from Wonder Workshop. Students collaborate in small groups to complete coding challenges while creating and navigating their own maze. More experienced coders can program robots to respond to sensor inputs and use loops to avoid obstacles. Multiple programming concepts are taught through fun and easy-to-understand activities, giving students creative ways to explore robot coding.
Available: 10am - 12pm
Duration: 2 hours
Ages: 9-14
Group Size: 32 students max (parents may "drop off" their child in the program, but they need to remain in the building)
Cost: $20 per student, $13 per adult (price includes admission)
