Saturday March 24

10:00 AM  –  11:00 AM

Learn the art of falling with style in this fun design thinking workshop! Girl Scouts are introduced to the concept of aerodynamics as they build, test and modify different aircraft designs at the parachute and hovercraft stations. Girls explore the many creative ways we can use air to help us fly, float, and fall with style by constructing various styles of parachutes and "hovercraft" to test in CCM's air tunnel. Children gain a deeper understanding of flight and design principles while they explore and experiment with both stations, and are welcome to take their aerial innovations home!
